Dr. Chun Y. Tan joined Central Cardiovascular Institute of San
Antonio in October 2000. He primarily is located at our
Jourdanton facility.
Dr. Tan received his degree in Medicine at Far Eastern University in
Manila, Philippines. He served a post graduate internship at the
Metropolitan Hospital in the Philippines. After moving to the
United States, Dr. Tan attended a Internal Medicine Residency at the
New York Downtown Hospital in New York, New York and he served as a
Resident at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Dr. Tan chose
to specialize in the field of Cardiology, so in 1996 he attended
Louisiana State University Medical Center to complete his fellowship in
cardiology.
