Dr. David Briseno joined Central Cardiovascular Institute of San
Antonio in 1998 and was one of four founding physicians. Dr.
Briseno is a dynamic physician who is a big contributor to the success
of CCI.
Dr. David Briseno attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he
obtained his B.A. in Biochemistry. In 1983, Dr. Briseno entered
Medical School at the University of Texas. In 1990, Dr. Briseno
completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the
Audie Murphy VA Hospital. Dr. Briseno pursued his interest in the
field of cardiology by completing his cardiology fellowship at
the Hermann Hospital at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
In addition to the duties Dr. Briseno performs for Central
Cardiovascular Institute of San Antonio, he is also a Clinical
Assistant Professor for the University Health System at San Antonio.
Dr. Briseno is a Founding Physician / Scientist Member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
