Dr. Gary J. Maszak joined Central Cardiovascular Institute of San Antonio in July 2006.
Dr. Gary J. Maszak, grew up in Joliet, Illinois. At an early age
he developed an interest in problem solving and a passion for helping
others, which lead him to pursue a career in the medical field.
He received his undergraduate degree from University of Illinois,
Urbana-Champaign and his medical degree at Loyola University of
Chicago, Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. Maszak completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Cleveland
Clinic Foundation. While completing his residency, Dr. Maszak
discovered an excitement for the field of cardiovascular diseases and
went on to complete his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Loyola
University Medical Center in June 2006.
