Dr. Jude Espinoza joined Central Cardiovascular Institute of San Antonio in July of 1998. Dr.
Espinoza serves as a partner within CCI and primarily operates out
of our Southeast San Antonio facility that is located at 4045 E
Southcross.
In 1988, Jude Espinoza graduated from Texas A& M University with a
Biomedical Science degree. He obtained his medical degree from
the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Espinoza
completed both an internship and medical residency in the department of
Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical
Sciences. In July 1995, Dr. Espinoza chose to move into the field
of cardiology by serving a 3 year fellowship in cardiology at the
University of Florida/ Shands Teaching Hospital.
Since September 2000, Dr. Espinoza has served as the Chief of
Cardiology for Southeast Baptist Hospital. Dr. Espinoza has also
served as the Chief of Cardiology for Metropolitan Methodist Hospital
and the Chief of Staff for the NIX Hospital.
Dr. Jude Espinoza is not only an active member within CCI but also
within the San Antonio medical community. He is extremely
supportive of the American Heart Association and is an official
spokesperson for the organization. In 2001 & 2005 he was
voted the *Top ER Consultant of the Year* for Southeast Baptist
Hospital. In addition, this past year Dr. Espinoza was nominated
by the San Antonio Business Journal as one of the "Top Most Successful
Businessmen in San Antonio" under the age of 40 in the article *40
Under 40 in San Antonio*.
