Dr. Roger K. Muse joined Central Cardiovascular Institute of San
Antonio in June 1998. He plays a critical role within the group
by serving as Electrophysiologist and the Director of Heart Rhythm
Services for Central Cardiovascular Institute of San Antonio. Dr.
Muse is primarily based out of our Metropolitan office downtown.
Dr. Muse began his pursuit of medicine at the University of
Kansas. After obtaining his medical degree in 1990, Dr. Muse
chose to join the Air Force. While in the USAF, Dr. Muse
completed his residency in Internal Medicine at USAF Medical Center
Wright Patterson in Ohio. He completed his fellowship in
Cardiovascular Disease and his fellowship in Clinical Cardiac
Electrophysiology at USAF Medical Center Wilford Hall at Lackland Air
Force Base.
Dr. Muse has participated in numerous presentations and research
projects. He is a member of the NASPE Heart Rhythm Society,
American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and the
Society of Air Force Physicians. While at Wilford Hall, Dr. Muse
served as Staff Cardiologist/ Electrophysiologist, Assistant Program
Director- Cardiology Fellowship and Director of Quality
Assurance.
